High-current, regenerative motor controllers built for the traction, hydraulic pump and steering motors of electric forklifts.

An electric forklift drives three motor groups at once: the traction motor that moves the truck, the hydraulic pump motor that lifts the forks, and the steering motor. Each needs different current, torque and response. NES Drive forklift controllers handle all three with one rugged hardware family — for both brushed DC (BAMSI) and brushless BLDC/PMSM (TULPAR) motors.

In warehouse duty the two things that matter most are efficiency and uptime. Our 4Q regenerative braking recovers part of the energy released while decelerating or lowering a load back into the battery, while FOC vector control delivers high, ripple-free torque even at low speed. The result: longer battery life, less heat, smoother driving.

My forklift has a brushed DC motor — which controller do I need?

For brushed DC traction and pump motors the BAMSI series is the fit; it supports 12–72 V and up to 300 A. Share your motor power and battery voltage and we will pick the right model together.

Does regenerative braking really extend battery runtime?

Yes. Because a forklift stops and starts often and lowers loads, part of the energy released during deceleration returns to the battery, giving measurable savings per shift depending on the duty cycle.

Can the controller talk to the display and BMS?

Yes. Over CANopen and Modbus it reports speed, current, temperature and faults to the vehicle controller and dashboard.

Is it locally made, with spare parts and support?

We design and manufacture the board in Kayseri. You talk directly to the engineer who built the drive; spares and field support are fast.
